Today in music class we did not have a review on our jingle because the task has passed. Today we had a lecture from Mr. Herry on transposion. WE had an exercise. I think that i understood the lesson pretty well. After theory we had a last practice session for our group performance.

Today in music class we had a final review again of the jingles and we had a lecture on inversion. We learned about the g clef and the f clef. I think i understood today's lesson pretty well. After theory class we had a practice session for our group performance.

Today in music class, there was very few people in class. The first thing that we did in class was we checked the finale final jingle and mr herry reminded us to delete the extra bars and delete the unused text boxes. After that, Mr Herry reviewed some of the jingles.

I think that today's lesson went pretty good. For next week, i will practice my scales and i will send my jingle description to Mr. Herry.

Today in music class we had a review of some of the final jingles. My jingle was reviewed in class and people said it was nice. After that we had our group practice.

Today in music class, we learned about the g clefs and the f clefs. Mr herry gave us some exercises on understanding the g clef and the f clef. He asked us some questions on what is the f clef, and most of us do not understand or do not know what is the f clef, so he explained it for about 20 minutes. For the last 20 minutes before recess, he gave us a quiz on converting the g clef notes into f clef. After that we went to instrument class to practice for the practical assessment on chords.

I think that today's lesson was pretty good, for next week i will practice my CDE major 2 octave scales for the assessment.

Today in music class we finally had our music group practical assessment. Before the assessment we were given around 15 minutes to prepare our performance. I think that my group did pretty well, we did good overall on our performance. Other than the performance, we also submitted our first draft of the finale commercial jingle.

I think that today's lesson was good. For next session i am going to work on my finale jingle and make some corrections on the jingle.

Today in music class, we had our final rehearsal before the practical assessment on friday. In class, mr. herry also told us that on friday other than our assessment, we need to submit our first draft of the music jingle. I think today's lesson was pretty good.

For next session, i will prepare my group performance for the assessment and i will also make my first draft for the business commercial jingle on finale.

Today in music class, the first thing that we did was checking again the finale homework. After checking the homework, we had a short group rehearsal again and after that we had the rest of the session to do our group performance practice.

I think that i understood today's lesson pretty well and i did pretty good in the group rehearsal. For next week, I am going to practice my part for the group performance due to the reason that the first performance will be conducted next friday, so I have to be ready and confident for the performance.

Today in music class, the first thing that we did was checking the homework mr herry gave us last week. I am very surprised that no one did the homework except for me. I am very proud of myself. (the homework was the finale 16 bars practice). After that we had a group performance rehearsal and practice. I think that i understood today's lesson well.

For next week, I am going to keep on practicing my group performance.

Today in music class we still discussed about the music jingle. It turns out that Mr herry told us to create our jingle draft on the finale as a homework, however, none of us knew. So, in class he told all of us to create 16 bars on our notebooks. In the second session, we had a performance rehearsal again and after that we had our practice in the instrument room.

For next week, I will practice my group performance.

Today in music class we had a group performance rehearsal for the group performance next week. After that Mr herry also explained to us about the jingles and what do we have to create. We have to create a finale notation for our jingle for business studies. I think that I understood today's lesson well and for next session i will keep on practicing for the group performance and I will start to create my jingle.

Today in music class, we had our theory test for term 4. The test covered both history and also notation. I think that the test was easier than i thought it was going to be. There was around 30 questions overall and i think i did all of them pretty well. One problem that i had in the test was on the biography of one artist, i wasn't prepared for that question so i just said what was in my mind. However, overall i think that i did pretty well.

For next week, I am going to practice my group performance.

Today in music class we had our singing practical assessment on the song called "I've Got Rythm". Before the performance, I have prepared very well for it and in the end, I was very pleased with my performance. I was very confident during my performance, and I hit the notes correctly. That is why i think i deserve the score 10 for my performance.

For next session, I am going to prepare for my theory test.

Today in music class, Mr. Herry told us to get into our groups and copy the questions for our jazz genre into a big paper for our test next week. After that we were told to stand in front as a group and other classmates will ask us questions from the question paper we have created. After that we had instrument class. I think i have understood today's lesson well and for next week i will prepare for the upcoming test.

Today is the first day of music class for term 4. We have all just got back from the spring break. Today in class Mr. Herry gave us an overview on what we are going to do in term 4. In term 4, we are going to do a group performance and also create a jingle for our business class. After that we learned the 9th chord. I think that i have understood today's lesson well and for next session I will learn more on the chords.

Today in music class, we had our 12 bars blues improvisation practical assessment. We played the improvisation per instrument section and each instrument came to the room at a different time. I think that i did pretty well on my performance, there was no mistake and i was very confident throughout the whole performance.

I did not face any challenges because I have already practiced very well before doing this assessment. For next week, I am going to complete and send the term 3 music developmental workbook to mr herry.

Today mr herry was absent. Today was supposed to be the day we had our 12 bars blues improvisation practical assessment. However, due to mr herry's absence, we cannot do it. Today in music class we had a rehearsal for the 12 bars blues assessment that will happen on friday 12 march.

I think that i did pretty well on my rehearsal, i did not make any mistakes. I hope that my actual performance will also be good. For next session I will keep on practicing my 12 bars blues on the guitar so that i can do the assessment well on friday.

Today in music class, we had our assessment on playing the melody and chords of the song 'All of Me' on our respective instruments. I played the song on the guitar. I think i did pretty well on my performance, i did not make any mistakes and i was pretty confident. I think that this is because i have prepared the performance very well and i have practiced a lot of times before the performance. I thought that the other performances were good also, such as the violin, piano, and the flute/woodwinds.

For next week, I will practice my 12 bars blues improvisation for the assessment on tuesday.

Today in music class, first mr herry announced the scores for the 12 bars blues improvisation. Before announcing the scores, he played two of the best compositions that have been chosen by him....I was very happy because my composition was chosen as one of them!!! And the other was jayne's composition. I was also satisfied with the score, I got a 9/10. After the announcing of scores, we had a late performance assesment of sway by ian and aryo. In instrument class, we practiced all of me.

I thought that I did pretty well in instrument class and I also have understand today's lesson well. For next week, I will practice the all of me melody for the assesment on tuesday.

Today in music class we had a 'progress performance' on the All of Me melody on our instruments. 2 students from each instrument were asked to play the song in front of the class, I was the one who represented the guitar instrument. After that, Mr Herry asked us to make a reflection on the creating the 12 bars blues notation.

I think that i performed pretty well today, for next week, i will keep on practicing the song for the upcoming performance.

Today in music class we submitted the final music 12 bars blues improvisation to Mr. Herry. We copied the final composition from our notebook to the sheet Mr. Herry distributed to us. After that, we went to our music instrument class to practice all of me melody.

I think i have understand today's lesson well. For next week I will study and practice the all of me melody on the guitar.

Today in music class, we had a briefing on what assessment is going to happen in february. I also submitted my individual report on swing jazz. Today we also learned and practiced the song All of Me. We sang it as a class and in our instrument class, we practiced to play the melody of the song on our instruments.

I think that I have understand the lesson today pretty well. For next week, I am going to practice the song all of me on the guitar.

Today we checked the 12 bars blues homework given by Mr. Herry last week. After that, Mr John and Mr. Hary and Mr. Sadrakh showed us an example of the improvisation. After that Steven and his group gave us a presentation on fusion jazz.

I think I have completely understand today's lesson and there were no obstacles this session. For next week, I will prepare and improve my blues notation.

Today in music class we had the singing assessment for the song 'Sway'. For the assessment, we were given the choice to have a solo performance or a duet performance, I picked to do a solo performance.

I think that I did my performance pretty well. I was able to sing the song without any mistakes and at the same time dancing to the music. I think I expressed myself pretty well throughout the song and I was not nervous at all.

I will keep this up for future singing performances and I will try to do better. For next week, I will prepare for the individual paper work on jazz.

Today in music class we had the group presentation. My group was the third group to present. I think that my group and I did the presentation pretty well, especially the live performance of the song 'All of Me' at the end.

I believe that my group and I did a good job in preparing for the presentation and I will keep this up for next presentations. For next session, I will prepare for the 'Sway' singing assessment.

Today in music class we learned about the blues chord and notes. We were given the different chords and we were asked to make a melody based on the chords.

I think that today was a pretty short and simple lesson and i understand the lesson well. Next week I will work with my group to prepare the group presentation.

Today in music class we learned and sang the song 'Sway'. Mr herry showed us a video of michael buble singing sway and we sang to the video. After that we learned the different types of jazz and we were divided into groups and we are going to do a presentation on one type of jazz.

I think that I understand today's lesson pretty well. For next week, I am going to research the 'Swing Jazz' for my group presentation.

Today is the first music class in term 3, Semester 2 2010. I am very excited to be back here in the music class. In today's class, Mr. Herry started the class by explaining how should we behave in class and reviewing the requirements for the class.

After that he explained what are the things that are going to be studied and assessed this term in music class.

For next session, I will prepare for the lessons and research on the different types of Jazz music. I think I understood today's lesson well.
